What’s New
With the 8.0 update we have focused on bringing the decision making experience on a new level. We have redesigned the Decision popups, record header and list view, and added a new summary tab as the default. We are also working on a new simpler form of a decision which will be released on a later date.
Decision list view will now open as default on the Decisions tab. The new sleek look gives you all the information and functionality needed to become a better decision maker.
The new Decision Summary tab gives a clear overview of what is happening in your Decisions. Whether it is a complex strategic decision or a simple everyday decision, it can be handled with Fingertip.

More of your important tasks in the front page
The home tab has seen some great usability improvements over the Summer. By default, your completed items won’t show up in Channels, and Final Approvals are available in the Work Queue. The changes make you click less, and be more productive.

Objectives Management is now simpler in Plans
Objectives can now be collapsed in the Plan items tab showing the tasks added to the Objective. This makes them easier to access from Plans, tying the related activities more closely to the Plan. We also added a Kanban view to Objectives for a nicer look on what is being worked on.

Bring outbound links more easily to Fingertip
We have created an option to add URL links into your Plans. Just enter a URL, set a name, and you can follow the link directly from the Plan. Whether it is a link to internal guidelines, registrations or direct links to social media posts, links save you extra time and headache every day from memorizing page locations.

The decision popup has been redesigned to make creating decisions more intuitive, and to give a more comprehensive overview faster when giving a stance.

The list of Decisions now features more info at one glance, making it a good spot for an overview of decisions in progress. Look for decisions you are expected to give stances on, see what is being worked on in the organization or check back on closed decisions from the past.
