Fingertip 3.2 brings better ways to measure and view organizational progress, as well as the first AI use cases.
The release package will be rolling out to customers starting Monday, 13th of May 2024. Users will see the update depending on the scheduled maintenance. Contact your organization’s administrator for details on that.
Thank you to all customers and partners who have made their voices heard during the development. Your feedback is extremely important for us.
As it stands, our product team is doing fabulous work producing new features and improvements to the user experience in lightning speed, and we rely on customer input to ensure we can deliver the most value.
In this version we have shown plenty of love to the Objective item, improving the graphical progress charts and managing predictions. Fans of measuring will also rejoice the addition of Power BI tiles in our supported meeting agenda components.
This version also delivers the first Artificial Intelligence beta features, something we have been working on and testing internally. They can save a lot of time by helping draft meeting agendas and decision proposals from simple prompts. The beta is available to all clients requiring only AI Builder credits. At some point the AI features will be limited to the Enterprise licenses.
We will also improve support on Microsoft Planner tasks in Fingertip, so it’s even easier to connect and improve transparency between different business processes.
Administrators will now also have the opportunity to activate or deactivate specific modules in the separate admin app to customize Fingertip for their organization’s needs.
And finally, we have redesigned the home page to be even more useful to someone navigating their workday in Teams using Fingertip with schedules and favorite items accompanying a more intelligent jobs to be done queue.
Improved features haven’t compromised performance either. Quite the opposite. The app now loads faster than ever before, delivering its new functionalities without stopping the flow of work.

Planner integration allows seamless synchronization of tasks and schedules between Fingertip and Microsoft Planner.
With real-time updates, Planner integration enhances your workflow efficiency and collaboration within the M365 ecosystem.
Planner tasks can be linked to any Fingertip activator. The user can also link entire Planner plans to Fingertip plans and collections.

Meetings are one of Fingertip’s most popular features, which is no surprise, since meetings are a common way to share knowledge and innovate in organizations.

Fingertip now allows users to link existing Teams discussions to activators, helping you connect every message related to an item in one place.
By using this feature, users do not need to create a new post to open the discussion about an activator but can continue where the collaboration started. It also helps to build the audit trail and background for the activator.
To use this feature, copy the link to the Teams channel post that you wish to link to the activator by clicking “…” and selecting “Copy link”.
Paste a link of Teams channel post in the text field, click “Create” and ta-da! You can now see the entire discussion inside the selected activator.
Fingertip’s new admin feature allows the Fingertip admin to enable and disable specific activators and features. This is only available for the Fingertip admins in the separate “Fingertip Admin” app.
This feature is useful especially useful for users who do not want to be blinded by the amount of leadership features that Fingertip offers.
Whether you use another tool for specific functions or want to simplify and clarify Fingertip use, selecting the activators visible to users is as easy as clicking a button.
Home page is the command center that collects data from around the organization in one view for better situational awareness.
It collects personal activators, schedule and bookmarks to frequent items in one view.
We have enhanced the home page with a new layout template and more useful features.
